EN 1.4002 stainless steel bar has the same corrosion resistance as 410 stainless steel. EN 1.4002 stainless steel bar can be easily machined, and it has the equivalent of low chromium stainless steel in terms of oxidation resistance, plasticity, toughness and cold forming properties better than other ferritic stainless steels with high chromium content. EN 1.4002 stainless steel bar is suitable for oil refineries, pressure vessel linings, or parts that require high toughness after impact loading, such as turbine blades, and structural frames.
